Ernest Drake D.D.S., P.C.

Dr. Drake was born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas. He lived there until coming to Houston to attend dental school. Ernie was a national merit finalist, and graduated with honors from Thomas Jefferson High School. Dr. Drake was active in scouting, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

Dr. Drake attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He received a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Biology in 1976. Dr. Drake received his dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, in 1982. Dr. Drake has been in dental practice for twenty years, and enjoys doing all types of dentistry. He has over two hundred hours of continuing education.

Ernie is married with three children. His is still active in scouting as a scoutmaster in his son’s troop. Ernie assists with his children’s swimming in USA swimming and the West Side Swim League. Dr. Drake enjoys camping and fishing. He is a member of Ashford united Methodist Church.

David C. Emmers D.D.S.

Dr Emmers is a native Houstonian. He attended his High School for Health Professions and graduated in 1979. While attending Health Professions, Dr. Emmers worked in several hospitals in the Houston Medical Center.While working in the Veteran’s Hospitals Dental Clinic as a High School Student, he developed a passion to become a dentist.

Dr. Emmers attended University of Houston Downtown and earned a B.S. Degree in 1983. Dr. Emmers attended and graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio Dental School in 1987. He has over 24 years of experience with numerous hours of continuing education to stay current on many areas of Dentistry. Dr. Emmers is active in several Dental organizations.

Dr. Emmers is the father of two beautiful daughters.He is an active member at Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ. Dr. Emmers enjoys sport and traveling when possible.
